Data Deletion
Last updated: September 2026
This page explains how to have your account and personal data deleted from FuturoWFM, and what happens when you do.
Delete your account
There are two ways in, and which one applies to you depends on how your account was opened. The app shows the same thing: if you can close your own account, Me → Settings → Delete my account is there; if the account was opened for you, that row says so and points you at the address below.
- In the app (immediate), for accounts created in the app: open Me → Settings → Delete my account and confirm. The account and the personal data listed below are deleted there and then — no request, no waiting, no email to write. You are signed out of the app and the account cannot be signed in to again. The email address is released, so you can apply for a new account with it later.
- By email: write to account@cgptalent.cn from the email address on your account, with the subject line Delete my account. We confirm every request and complete it within 30 days. We may ask one identifying question before we act, so that nobody else can delete your account.
This also applies to an account that was opened for you by CGP (by your employer, or by our staff when they onboarded you): because the account was not created by you in the app, it is closed through the address above rather than in the app, so that your employer's records stay consistent with it. The deletion itself is the same, and so is everything on this page.
If your account is tied to an employer you no longer work for, tell us in the request; we will coordinate with that employer so your attendance records are handled correctly.
What we delete
Deleting your account removes it permanently — it is not disabled, suspended or hidden, and it cannot be restored:
- your account and sign-in credentials (email address, password, sessions);
- your name, phone number, photo and other profile details;
- your face templates used for check-in, and the check-in selfies stored with them;
- your device push tokens, so no further notifications are sent to your phone;
- your in-app notifications and messages;
- the files attached to your profile.
What we keep, and why
We keep a limited set of records, because labour and tax rules require it:
- attendance, shift and timesheet records for shifts you worked, and the payments recorded against them. These are kept for three years by the employer (customer) that engaged you and by this platform, and the law is what sets that period rather than our preference.
- a work agreement you signed, as it was signed. It is the employer's record of the terms you agreed to, and it is kept for the same period as the attendance records.
- audit records of actions taken in the system (for example who approved a shift), in a form that no longer identifies you beyond what that audit requires.
Everything kept is de-identified: the records stay to show what was worked and what was paid, but the name, ID number, phone number, bank details and photos that were on the profile are written out of them, so they no longer show who it was. Everything retained is used only for those purposes, and access is limited to the employer and our platform administrators. When the retention period ends, the records are deleted.
Location data
Check-in location is stored with the attendance record of that check-in only. It is used to confirm you were on site. We do not track your location in the background, and it is deleted together with the attendance record.
